Mission Statement:

"Building a caring community for residents of The Woodlands who want to remain in their homes safely and affordably while maintaining a meaningful lifestyle."

Aging in Place is one of the biggest trends in senior living as most people prefer to live in their own homes.  People are comfortable in their homes and appreciate their familiar surroundings. However, as we age some activities become more difficult such as driving, getting up on a ladder to change a lightbulb or figuring out how to use a new computer or cellphone. AIP-TW volunteers are ready and willing to help members with these activities!

Aging in Place–The Woodlands (AIP-TW) is a 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization designed to provide services to help members to remain in their homes as they grow older. We are patterned after similar successful programs already operating in hundreds of communities around the country and world.

We are an all-volunteer organization and operate through a “virtual” office. Our volunteers are compassionate and respectful. They help create the caring community that is Aging in Place-The Woodlands.
